Our Admission Philosophy

Global Tech Florida University welcomes motivated learners from diverse backgrounds who seek a flexible, technology‑driven education. Admission decisions consider academic readiness, English‑language ability, and commitment to professional growth.

Undergraduate Programs

To enroll in an Associate or Bachelor of Science program you must provide:

• A completed online application form.
• Proof of high‑school graduation or equivalent (official transcript or GED certificate).
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale (or 70/100).
• One government‑issued photo ID.
• A non‑refundable USD 50 application fee.
• English‑language proficiency if your schooling was not primarily in English (TOEFL iBT 61, IELTS 6.0, Duolingo 95, or equivalent).
• Confirmation that you meet the technology requirements listed below.

Graduate Programs

Admission to MBA or M.S. programs requires:

• A completed online application form.
• Official transcript showing a conferred bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.
• Current résumé or curriculum vitae.
• Statement of purpose (250–500 words) outlining academic goals and career plans.
• Two academic or professional references (contact details or sealed letters).
• Proof of English‑language proficiency (TOEFL iBT 79, IELTS 6.5, Duolingo 105, or equivalent).
• Payment of the USD 50 application fee.

International Applicants (All Levels)

In addition to the items above, non‑U.S. citizens must submit:

• Copy of the passport identification page.
• Course‑by‑course credential evaluation by a NACES‑approved agency.
• Bank statement or financial guarantee showing funds for the first year of study.
• Proof of English proficiency as specified for your level.

Note: Global Tech Florida University is authorized by the Florida Commission for Independent Education, License 13387, and complies with federal regulations for international education.

Transfer Credit Policy

Up to 75 percent of program credits may be transferred from accredited institutions.
• Only courses with a grade of “C” (2.0) or higher are eligible.
• Submit official transcripts plus syllabi or course outlines if requested.
• Final determinations are made by the Office of the Registrar; decisions are communicated within 10 business days.

Technology Requirements (Applies to Every Student)

Computer operating on Windows 10/11 or macOS 11+ with at least 8 GB RAM.
• Reliable broadband connection of 10 Mbps or higher.
• Modern web browser (Chrome, Edge, or Firefox) kept up to date.
• Webcam and microphone for proctored assessments and live sessions.
• Productivity software (Microsoft 365 license provided after enrollment).
• Ability to install proctoring and collaboration tools as directed by faculty.

English‑Language Proficiency Waiver

Applicants who completed at least two years of full‑time secondary or post‑secondary education in an English‑medium institution with a GPA of 3.0 or higher may request a waiver. The Admissions Committee reviews waivers on a case‑by‑case basis.
